Philippians 2:3-7
Be in Community

As a global community, instantaneous digital ‘connections’ are increasingly available to us, yet for some reason, in the day to day, we feel more alone than ever before. Why? One reason is that our lives are structured for drive-through meals and Skip the Dishes, rather than sitting down to enter the joy and mess of relationship. We have to ask ourselves, are we more likely to heart a social media post than to know someone deeply, and to be known in return? All throughout the gospels, Jesus shows us a different way. A better way. He shows us the way of life itself — A life that brings people together so they can see, hear, and feel the gospel being lived out. He models a full life of growth and participating in togetherness. Rather than reducing human interaction, the gospel changes human interaction. A Gospel-centered community is something that we all need. It’s something that we crave. It’s what we are designed for. It’s something that we need to structure our life around. Come join us this Sunday. Let’s create this sense of belonging together and join in the fight against loneliness.
