Exhibit the Fruit

Throughout our lives, each one of us is presented with trials and pain and grief. What are we to do with our suffering? Avoid it? Numb it? This week Pastor Steve will show us how God can use our suffering as a means for good! Suffering can be like a refining fire. With our invitation, God is able to do the necessary pruning to our branches so they can produce fruit. It’s in the hardest moments where you feel like your life is falling apart that God can do the most life changing work. Maybe your health is declining, or you have lost your job, or an important relationship just fell apart, or your life just hasn’t turned out the way you hoped. You may feel powerless as someone close to you is suffering. You may not understand. It may hurt. It may cause you to question. It may cause you to reevaluate. But somehow God can use these difficulties to help us let go of our idols, grow in Christ, and be more fruitful than we are now. Paul even says that we can get to the point of rejoicing in our suffering. Join us this week as we explore this difficult subject, releasing our pain to the Lord, expecting hope and new life to spring up in its place
