Acts 2:42-47

God is not calling us to simply be devoted fans of Jesus who come to church and sit in the pews and cheer like we would go to a hockey game, sit in the stands and cheer on our favourite team, however misguided our choice of team might be. He is calling each of us, as followers of Jesus, to actually get in the game and actively and persistently participate in the greatest mission on earth. And unlike with the Canucks, or the Raptors, or the Flames, nobody gets rejected from the mission of Jesus. The Holy Spirit has gifted and called each of us to participate.

Over the next few weeks we are going to take a closer look at each of these things the first disciples devoted themselves to: 1. The teaching of the Word; 2. Fellowship with each other; 3. Eating together; and 4. Prayer.

Join us as we journey together to discover God's call for us as a church. Imagine what God could do if we allowed him to work through us and if we really believed that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and created the heavens and the earth lives in us.
