Our Identity
What does it mean to be human, and how do we discover who we really are? Are you tired of striving to prove your worth? What would it change if your identity were rooted not in performance, but in grace, and not in who you are, but in whose you are? In a world obsessed with self-expression, success, and image, many of us end up with a confused identity, chasing worth in places that leave us empty. This Sunday at CRBC, we’ll explore how we lose ourselves (Identity Confused), how we can find lasting identity in Christ (Identity Found), and what it looks like to live from that truth every day (Identity Lived). Based on Jeremiah 2:13, we’ll unpack how the “broken cisterns” of our culture fail to hold the weight of who we are meant to be. Please pray for Pastor Steve and the team as they prepare for the service. We are looking forward to what God is going to do this Sunday! For more infomation visit:

New Staff IntroductionsJoe Hinchcliffe We’re excited to introduce Joe Hinchliffe, who has been serving as our Part-Time Tech and Worship Coordinator at CRBC since January. Joe works 15 hours a week, helping shape and support the technical and worship side of our ministry. Joe comes to us from the scenic shores of Campbell River, BC, bringing with him deep musical talent and a heart for worship. As a blues musician blending blues, rock, pop, and gospel, Joe has spent years lighting up stages — and now he’s helping create meaningful, seamless worship experiences for our church.
In this role, Joe:
Collaborates with the worship team to plan engaging services
Leads and mentors our incredible team of tech volunteers
Ensures the behind-the-scenes runs smoothly so the focus stays on worship
A few fun facts about Joe:
Favorite coffee: Starbucks Grande Pike with heavy cream and honey First dream job as a kid: Rock star or baseball player Favorite thing to do in Campbell River: Play music — but when summer hits, being out on the water How long at CRBC: 108 months (since 2017 — nine years!) We’re grateful for Joe’s passion, experience, and creativity on the team. Be sure to introduce yourself if you haven’t yet and maybe swap a favorite song or two!

Accessible Parking
For those who use our wheelchair accessible parking near the foyer, we would like to ask for some help. We have noticed our accessible parking is filling up, and so we would like that use that space as efficiently as possible. Our heart behind this request is to make our church to be accessible to as many people as possible! 1) If the driver of the car is able to walk from the regular parking area, while the passenger needs extra assistance, we request that you temporarily park and assist near the foyer doors, and then park in the regular parking. Then following the service, you can arrange a pickup at the foyer doors. 2) If parking in the accessible parking area is needed, we would like to ask that cars are pulled as far forward as they can. This will eliminate any large spaces left between cars. Thank you for your efforts in helping our church become accessible for more people! |
