Acts 2:42-47

We have an enemy. He is called the accuser of the brethren. Revelation 12 says that Satan is at work day and night accusing you. Day and night. 24/7! He is telling lies. He is trying to get you to believe lies about yourself in order to defeat you. He’s telling you things like God doesn’t really care about you. He cares about other people, but not about you. He is telling you that you are worthless. Night and day, he is accusing you in an attempt to cause you to give up and be demoralized.

He is telling you lies about others, attempting to cause disunity in your relationships. He is also telling you lies about God, trying to break down your trust in him. Night and day he is accusing you and pointing his finger. We are in a spiritual battle and what he wants to do is to get us to take our eyes off Jesus and on to our problems and insecurities in order to distract us from the mission of Jesus. If he can do that he wins. That is one of the reasons we need to pray. That is why we need to take every thought captive and focus our hearts and minds on the right kinds of things.

Watch or listen to this sermon and see what you can do to gain victory over the things that would distract you from your life purpose.
