Encounter - How do I encounter Jesus while serving?

We all want to belong. But our culture tells us belonging comes from being liked, followed, or validated. Jesus flips that upside down in John 13, when He takes up the towel and washes the disciples’ feet. He shows us that greatness isn’t about climbing higher, it’s about kneeling lower. In serving, we don’t just help others; we encounter Jesus, we discover where we belong, and we realize God can even use us. This Sunday, we’ll explore how serving moves us from attending to belonging, and from spectators to family.

Celebrating our Kick-Off!

We are so grateful to all our volunteers who made this year's Kick-Off picnic a grand success. Thank you so much for all the hard work and participation. So many people invited friends, family, and neighbours to attend! We fed around 550 people, and cherished the time with our growing community.

Why Apologetics?

Now this may come as a shock to you, but not everyone is a fan of apologetics. In fact, some in the church are outright hostile to apologetics. So, before we can make a case for Christianity, we have to make a case for making a case for Christianity. In this course, Tim Barnett walks through four reasons why we must engage in apologetics. Simply put, the Bible commands it, the culture demands it, the Church needs it, and the results confirm it. Taken individually, each reason should motivate us to do apologetics. However, taken altogether, these provide a powerful apologetic for apologetics.
