CRBC Sunday Service

June 20, 2021

Welcome

On behalf of the Staff, and Board at Campbell River Baptist Church, we would like to welcome you and thank you for connecting with us today.

If you know someone who is not receiving our weekly newsletters and would like to, please encourage them to do so by calling into the office (250) 287-8831 or go directly to the website.

We are so thankful that you have continued to be the Church in so many ways each and every week!! We are the Church. Our worship of God is not confined by the walls of our building. We cannot give up gathering (Hebrews 10:23-25a), we cannot stop loving, we cannot stop giving, we cannot stop growing.

We have an opportunity to serve our faith community here in Campbell River and we want to provide you and your family with resources to stay connected to God’s word and to each other during this time.

Please use this Order of Service as a springboard to start your time of worship this morning.

God Bless

Sermon

Title : Meeting God At The Tabernacle
Part 4: The Wash Basin
Verses: Exodus 25-36

As we have moved through the tabernacle we approached the wall, entered through the gate, paused at the altar and now stand at the wash basin. Its design is different from anything else and its purpose creates a controversy that can unite us or drive us apart.

This week we try to understand what ‘being clean’ really means.

Here are the videos for this week:

Elementary:  https://vimeo.com/564260577

Memory Verse: Jeremiah 42:6

Activity:  Telescope
After the Israelites had been in the wilderness for a while Moses sent out 12 spies to check out the land.  10 of them came back scared and decided it wasn’t time to move into the new land.  2 of them came back saying that yes, it was scary, but God was with them.  Because of that - Israel had to live in the wilderness for 40 years.  During that time they learned about how to trust and worship God.  Build your telescope today as a reminder that we can trust and worship God, even when it’s scary.
