CRBC Sunday Service

May 2nd, 2021

On behalf of the Staff, and Board at Campbell River Baptist Church, we would like to welcome you and thank you for connecting with us today.

If you know someone who is not receiving our weekly newsletters and would like to, please encourage them to do so by calling into the office (250) 287-8831 or go directly to the website.

We are so thankful that you have continued to be the Church in so many ways each and every week!! We are the Church. Our worship of God is not confined by the walls of our building. We cannot give up gathering (Hebrews 10:23-25a), we cannot stop loving, we cannot stop giving, we cannot stop growing.

We have an opportunity to serve our faith community here in Campbell River and we want to provide you and your family with resources to stay connected to God’s word and to each other during this time.

Please use this Order of Service as a springboard to start your time of worship this morning.

God Bless

Title: Meeting God At The Tabernacle

Sermon Two: Only One Gate

Versus: Exodus 25-36

Last time we looked at the outer “wall” of the Tabernacle, a flimsy, cloth barrier, non-threatening and easy to crawl under. And yet God appointed one gate only.  It’s easy to sneak in and out of the Tabernacle and have religious experiences but to approach the living God we must enter the one gate.

This week we look at that gate and consider God’s requirements for true fellowship with Him.

Children’s Ministry

For the months of May and June Rooted Kids will be going through the book of Exodus, following the life of Moses.

Here are the videos for this week:

Memory Verse: Deuteronomy 7:9a

Feelings Game:

Show your family a feelings face.  Have them guess what your feelings are and who might have felt that way in the story.

Craft: Paint and decorate a rock.

We can remember that God is faithful, just like Jacob remembered that He is.  In the Old Testament, people would leave rocks around to help them remember the things that God had told them or the things that He had done.  Paint your rock and leave it out somewhere in Campbell River.  Others will see that God is dependable.
