Welcome

On behalf of the Staff, and Board at Campbell River Baptist Church, we would like to welcome you and thank you for connecting with us today.

We are so thankful that you have continued to be the Church in so many ways each and every week!! We are the Church. Our worship of God is not confined by the walls of our building. We cannot give up gathering (Hebrews 10:23-25a), we cannot stop loving, we cannot stop giving, we cannot stop growing.

We have an opportunity to serve our faith community here in Campbell River and we want to provide you and your family with resources to stay connected to God’s word and to each other during this time. 

Please use this Order of Service as a springboard to start your time of worship this morning.

Title:  Blessed To Share His Story

By telling your story, you are telling His story. Jesus reminds us of the power He has given us in our personal story. If we don’t share the story of how we met Jesus and how He’s changed our lives, we limit the purposeful impact Jesus wants to make through us. Sometimes we think that our story is boring but often that can be the thing that people relate to which Jesus uses to draw them to Himself. Our story of how we met Jesus is our greatest tool to reach those far from Jesus! When we tell others about Jesus and how he has changed our lives, we are sharing more than words — we’re sharing the most valuable gift, the good news about Jesus!

Children’s Ministry

Below is a list of children’s resources that you can use to lead your family or small group gathering.  

Activity:

Idea: Hand Rainbow

Materials needed:

  • Paper
  • Scissors 
  • Markers 
  • Glue 

Today we are going to make a family hand rainbow. When we look at it, we can remember that we are in God’s family.

  • Trace each member of your families hands.
  • Cut out each hand print
  • Colour & put the name on each hand
  • Arrange the hand prints into a rainbow and then glue them together.
  • Pray for your family.
