Welcome

On behalf of the Staff, and Board at Campbell River Baptist Church, we would like to welcome you and thank you for connecting with us today.

We are so thankful that you have continued to be the Church in so many ways each and every week!! We are the Church. Our worship of God is not confined by the walls of our building. We cannot give up gathering (Hebrews 10:23-25a), we cannot stop loving, we cannot stop giving, we cannot stop growing.

We have an opportunity to serve our faith community here in Campbell River and we want to provide you and your family with resources to stay connected to God’s word and to each other during this time. 

Please use this Order of Service as a springboard to start your time of worship this morning.

Series: Blessed

Verse: Acts 20:35 "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Title: Blessed To Be A Blessing

How often do you take time to think about how you can help others? Do you ask God daily how you can be a blessing to those around you? Or do you compare what you have to your friends and feel like you don’t have enough, don’t measure up, and are lacking in some way? It’s so easy to compare yourself to those around you and become focused inward. You might feel like you don’t have the best clothes or the best summer vacation story. And if you focus on those things, it will steal your joy. It is also more than just learning to be content with what we have. The Bible talks about God blessings us so that we can be a blessing to others. Join us on Sunday as we wrestle with this blessing.

Children’s Ministry

Below is a list of children’s resources that you can use to lead your family or small group gathering.  

Activity:

Walking by Faith

Idea:

Blindfold one person and let one person. Depending on the level and intensity of the activity, you can let the path be regular or add obstacles. The kid who is not blindfolded has to guide his partner carefully through the path and reach a safe zone. Once all kids are in the safe zone, switch the blindfold and put it on the kids who did not wear it earlier.
