Emma first arrived at Camp Homewood on Quadra Island, BC, as a family camper with her family when she was growing up. Later, she went back on her own - first to serve as an LIT in the summer of 2012. Over the years she was often part of Homewood’s Summer and Spring staff teams, as well as working part time at camp again in the Winter of 2017.

Emma’s love for ministry ignited and grew at Camp Homewood, and she has been involved in various Christian ministries and missions ever since. This included working at her local church, Campbell River Baptist Church, as well as serving in missions abroad and in New York and Hawaii.

In 2024 Emma followed God’s call to go back to the place He first put ministry on her heart, and she is currently Program Director at Camp Homewood.
