Rooted Kids is our Sunday morning program for kids from infant to grade 5.
We have three different areas for children of different ages to connect in.
The Nursery (also known as The Seedlings) is a space directly adjacent to the church auditorium. Although we do not have volunteers currently available, you are welcome to use and stay in the space with your 0-2 year old.
The Saplings is our preschool-aged program. Children ages 0-4 are signed into the program in the lobby of the church before the service starts. They remain with their adults until they are invited to join their program down in the beautiful playschool rooms. (This happens around 10:20). Parents/guardians take the children to their appropriate rooms. During their time in the Saplings, the children will be cared for by adults and jr leaders. They will play, hear a Bible story and even sing a few songs. After the service is over you will pick up your children from the Saplings at the same location you dropped them off.
The Elm is our elementary-aged program. Children in Kindergarten to Grade 5 are signed into the program in the lobby of the church before the service starts. They remain with their adults until they are invited to join their program in the chapel. (This happens around 10:20). Parents/guardians take the children to their program. The children will be cared for by adult volunteers and jr. leaders. They will start off by singing a few songs (which you can find the link for the Spotify playlist below), they will hear a Bible story told by one of our volunteers. After the story, the children will get to chose if they would like to do a craft or a game. (We always try to have both options available). The large group will split into two smaller groups to complete the activity of their choosing. Parent/guardians can pick up their elementary-aged children from the gym.
Connect with Leora if you'd like more information or if you'd like to volunteer.
