Ephesians 6:10-13
Who is Satan?

This Sunday, we are starting a new sermon series called “War for your soul” and we will be talking about how you can’t win battle alone.
A war is being waged for your soul and for the souls of others. How do you be “strong and courageous” when you are being attacked? How do you fight back? Are you prepared? Do you understand the battle and the weapons God gave us to stand firm in a very real battle?
To find victory, we need to utilize the tools God gave us to fight back. To be effective, we also need to understand the enemy we are fighting and his tactics. For example, lies are one of the primary methods that Satan uses to defeat and destroy us. When lies find their way into our thinking, they dupe us and leave us blind to the truth. Satan wants us to feel alone, angry, broken, and distant. He wants us to lose our connection with God and others.
In Ephesians 6, Paul tells us that we are in a spiritual battle, and we are to put on the whole armour of God to “stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” In this series, we will learn how to put on the whole armour of God – what it means and how to do it.
