The Book of ActsHow do you know if God shows up? In Acts 2:1-47, the Spirit of God shows up in a very dramatic way. Luke recounts an experience involving the elements of wind and fire through vivid auditory and visual descriptions. This was a divine encounter that affected their ability to speak. He says that they were filled with the Spirit. What does that mean? As you will see, when God shows up, He changes our perceptions, purpose, prayers, and how we relate to others. He also changes how we use our time, resources, and talents. When we are filled with the Spirit, we are changed and empowered by God. The primary outcome of being filled with the Holy Spirit is the commitment and ability to become witnesses of Christ with his power. Powerful words and deeds. When we are filled with the Spirit, we are able to effectively share the life-changing gospel with others. Please pray for Pastor Steve and the team as they prepare the service. We are looking forward to what God is going to do this Sunday! For more infomation visit:

God Stories!
We were so thrilled to have Dale Shillito choose to get baptized on Easter Sunday. He was the tenth baptism in the past year. He shared how God has given him hope and movement forward in a long struggle with depression. We continue to take joy and give thanks that the grace of God is extending to more and more people! For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 4:15 |
