Celebrate

Scripture: John 2:1-11

This Sunday, we are on Part 1 of our new “Better Together” sermon series and will be talking about celebrating together.

What is the best celebration that you have been to?  What made it great?  Jesus shows us that there is a significant reason to get into the habit of gathering and celebrating as a church community.  If we have learned one thing from the last year, it’s that something is lost or missing when we don’t gather.  We need each other.  We need to laugh.  We need to enjoy one another.  We are called to be in each other’s lives.  It’s in our invitation and celebration that people see Jesus.  Ultimately, we want to celebrate Christ and what He has done for us.

Come, friends.  Come with your grief.  Come with your loss.  Carry all the pieces of your heart and come sit with us.   Bring your disappointments and your failures.  Bring your betrayals and your masks.  We welcome you no matter where you come from and what you bring.  Come and join us at the intersection of acceptance and forgiveness, where you will find our house of love.  Bring your empty cups, and celebrate what God is doing.

We are better together!
