Corinthians 13 is a beautiful portrait of love often read at weddings. It’s inspiring! And it’s a good word to us on Mother’s Day about how to love significant people in our lives. Surprisingly, this passage also has bite to it—it’s meant to be corrective. So as we process this passage together we will admire its beauty and be inspired by its aspirations and be instructed in how we (as imperfect as we are!) can love others with the perfect love of God at work among us.
