Engaging Latter-day Saints
Instructor: Robby Lashua
It’s happened to most of us. You are home, relaxing, when suddenly there is a knock at your front door. You look to see who it is and discover two young LDS missionaries ready to share their Mormon faith with you. Are you prepared? Are you ready to engage with them about their faith and yours?
In this course, you will learn the history of Mormonism’s founder Joseph Smith, which holy books Latter-day Saints believe are sacred, and key points in Mormon theology. You will also be trained in four witnessing methods to use with your LDS friends, neighbours, and missionaries.
This course will help you to confidently engage with Latter-day Saints and make a case for the true gospel and the true Jesus.
February 23rd and March 2nd
Engaging Jehovah's Witnesses
Instructor: Tim Barnett
In "Engaging Jehovah’s Witnesses", Tim Barnett equips Christians with the confidence and skills to engage in meaningful conversations with Jehovah’s Witnesses. Discover essential techniques—such as how to ask thoughtful questions and recognize logical fallacies—and learn the importance of patience, preparation, and trusting God with the outcomes. Tim guides you through biblical insights, practical strategies, and real-life examples to help you navigate these discussions with both truth and gentleness. This course goes beyond simply teaching what to say; it shows you how to think and engage Jehovah’s Witnesses in a way that honors Christ.

God the Son: Answering Nine Challenges to Jesus’ Deity
Instructor: Tim Barnett
If you ask most Christians why they believe Jesus is God, they will likely point to a Bible verse. But what happens when Bible verses get used against Jesus' deity? For example, Jesus says, “The Father is greater than I” (John 14:28). How can anyone be greater than God? The Bible describes Jesus praying to God, but how can Jesus pray to God if he is God? Jesus is called the “firstborn of creation” and “only begotten Son,” but doesn't that mean he's created?
Sadly, these and similar challenges can leave Christians doubting Christ's deity. Here’s where this course will help. By offering clear and concise responses, God the Son will equip you to effectively answer nine of the most common challenges raised against Jesus' deity.
March 23rd and 30th
Risen: The Case for the Resurrection
Instructor: Tim Barnett
Christianity stands or falls on Jesus' resurrection. This is the central claim of Christianity. In this course, we put Christianity to the test by investigating three established facts surrounding the resurrection. After exploring the facts, we will look at what best explains all the evidence. Finally, we move from history to theology and ask why the resurrection matters.
