The future for some of us holds great promise, and for others, great trepidation. Many of us feel a bit of both. We might believe that God is in control, but looking out at the world, or reading the news, we can easily become fearful. What message are our children internalizing about the rapid changes in the world, and how will they face the giants that lurk in the land ahead? Do they know with confident assurance that our God has defeated bigger giants than these? Will they have the courage to follow the voice of God, leading them into the good pasture He has promised, or will they shirk back into the desert places, fearful that the giants are too strong?
This Sunday, we will be exploring Psalm 145, where David encourages the people of God to share the message of God’s mighty deeds to the next generation. We cannot let fear drive us, or have the final say. As followers of a mighty God, with countless mighty deeds, we must share the good news of what he has done, in our lives, and in the stories of Scripture, and what we know He will do again.

Please pray for the team as they prepare the service. We look forward to being with you on Sunday!
