Luke 11:5-13
God's Justice and Our Needs

This week we are hearing another story from Jesus, this time from Luke 11:5-13. It's a story about having a friend come to your door at midnight, pounding on the door for bread. Would we come down? When God uses the term 'justice' it has a very different meaning from the one we're used to. When we ask God for something we need to remember who he is and what he does. Would we give our friend what they need? It's a strange story for our Canadian sensibilities, but one that can deeply impact how we relate to God and others. Please pray for the team as we prepare. We look forward to being with you on Sunday!
