Ever feel like your job is just a means to an end, or worse, a necessary evil? This Sunday, we’re asking a deeper question: What if work is actually a gift from God? We’ll discover how we are designed to work, how sin has distorted our view of work, and how our work is meant to be an act of worship. We’ll also explore the difference between selfish ambition and holy ambition, and how God can use our drive and desire for His glory and the good of others. Whether you’re grinding through the 9 to 5, retired but restless, or chasing your next big dream, come and see what God really says about your work and purpose.

We’re excited to introduce Amelia Gole, who has been serving as our Graphic Designer at CRBC, bringing a thoughtful, creative presence to our communications team since January 2025. In this part-time role, she designs visual content for Sunday services, newsletters, and the church website. She ensures everything we share is clear, engaging, and aligned with our vision. Her work supports the rhythm of weekly ministry while strengthening the visual identity of our church.

A few things to know about her:

– Favourite coffee: Vanilla Latte
– First job she dreamed of as a kid: Driving an ice cream truck
– A decade of involvement at CRBC
– Favourite thing to do in Campbell River: Walking by the ocean.
