The Book of Acts“Are you ready to be surprised?" Throughout the book of Acts, we have seen God’s miraculous hand over the Christian church. People were coming to faith, being baptized, and experiencing a new kind of community. But there was still one problem, the Jewish Christians couldn’t break their traditions and accept the new Gentile believers without circumcision. So what does God do? He breaks through and surprises the apostle Peter by redefining what it means to be clean and unclean, paving the way for Gentiles to be accepted into this new community. What traditions might God need to break in your life so that He can surprise you? What does it look like to be open to receive what God is trying to teach us? For more infomation visit:

Annual General MeetingThis Sunday, June 9 at 6:00pm The AGM is here! This coming Sunday at 6pm we are celebrating what God has been doing in our church and community in the past year! We can't believe all that has happened. When God moves, so do the mountains standing in our way. We will begin our meeting with a devotional from Brian Miller, join together in worship, and then Pastor Steve is excited to share his updates, along with the entire staff. This won't be a meeting to miss! All members please attend, and everyone is welcome! There will also be a zoom option available below for those who can't attend in person. Meal Trains
We have two meal trains that need some extra love and support. If you make a double batch you can help them both. Hop on the train! Sandra Montgomery has recently had knee surgery, and is recovering at home. Lucas and Emma Offerein have welcomed their first baby, Myra, into the world! |
Introducing Brian Miller
We are absolutely ecstatic to introduce Brian Miller, our newest team member. He grew up as a missionary kid here in Campbell River. His parents Jim and Kristy Miller were missionaries with the Nuu Chah Nulth people of the west coast. CRBC supported his family and he attended this church since he was very young. He holds a BA in Youth Ministry, with a double major in OT Theology and Youth ministry Brian starts full time on July 1st. Please be praying! |
Christianity Explored
Coming in September, we will be launching Christianity Explored. It is a group for people to learn more about Christianity, asking deep questions that illuminate Jesus, who He was, why He came, and why it matters today.
