The Book of Acts“What are you grumbling about?" In Acts 6 we are 3-5 years after Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit. God has been moving in His church, and many are coming to know Him daily. As the church grows, so do its problems, a group of within the church start to grumble about their widows being neglected. How will the apostles respond? Is this going to cause a rift in the church? The enemy knows the church is just beginning and wants to divide them. God has different plans, He wants to use these grumblings to bring about opportunities for His people to meet and care for the spiritual as well as the physical needs of His people. What do you grumble about? When you come home after a long day’s work, or when you step into church for a Sunday service? Where is God wanting to turn your grumblings into opportunities to live out the Gospel? Let us be on guard against the enemy to seeks to divide us. For more infomation visit:

Happy Mother's Day
We are looking forward to celebrating our mothers this weekend! We are celebrating mothers of all kinds, recogizing it takes a village to raise our children. Thank you for all the sacrifces you have made to love, to seek the good of another, at great cost to you. We also recognize this is a difficult weekend for many who are greiving, who are unable to have children, and for those who are separated from their family. Please be in prayer for those who are suffering at this time. May the Lord shine his face upon you this weekend. May you know that he sees you, and you are precious in his sight. |
Membership ClassSunday May 26th We are so glad you are walking with us. Have you considered church membership as a "next step" you could take in partnering with our church? Church membership is not about adding some requirement to the call of Jesus. It’s about a local church taking specific responsibility for a Christian, and a Christian taking responsibility for a local church. It’s about “embodying,” and “living out,” our membership in Christ’s universal body. Please reach out to the office to register! |
HamaElas Soup KitchenCelebrating! This week we are celebrating our ministry down at the HamaElas Soup Kitchen. Our church mobilizes a team each week to serve the vulnerable and those in need in our city. Thank you to those who faithfully serve in this way! We are also in need of a team lead for this ministry starting July 1st. Are you looking for deeper connection, and also a way to help those in need? Those who serve are able to bless others, but are also blessed as they encounter Jesus in the least of these. Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.' Matt 25:40 |
