What is the Meaning of Life? - The Problem of Evil
Why does a good God allow a world that hurts so much? This Sunday we will wrestle with one of life’s most difficult questions, what Christians have long called the problem of evil. Ecclesiastes refuses to give easy answers to this problem (or question), and instead meets us in the tension between pain, humility, and hope. If you’ve ever struggled to understand suffering, injustice, or silence in the middle of prayer, you are not alone. Together, we will explore why our hearts long for justice, why our understanding is limited, and what God promises to do about evil. Come and see how faith does not ignore the darkness, but learns to trust God faithfully within it. Please pray for Pastor Steve and the team as they prepare for Sunday's service. Island Adventure Camp - Save the Date!
Our week-long Island Adventure Camp is back this summer! Although it may feel like summer is a long way away, we want to ensure you save the dates on your calendar. Island Adventure Camp is an evening summer camp. The program will include songs, skits, games, crafts, and Bible stories. IAC is an excellent opportunity for us all to grow in our knowledge and love of Jesus and make lasting memories and friendships. When: July 13-17 Ages: There will be programs for children Age 4 (born in 2021) to Grade 5 Registration hasn't opened yet. For now, just make sure to mark your calendars! |
