Why does a good God allow a world that hurts so much?

This Sunday we will wrestle with one of life’s most difficult questions, what Christians have long called the problem of evil. Ecclesiastes refuses to give easy answers to this problem (or question), and instead meets us in the tension between pain, humility, and hope. If you’ve ever struggled to understand suffering, injustice, or silence in the middle of prayer, you are not alone. Together, we will explore why our hearts long for justice, why our understanding is limited, and what God promises to do about evil.

Come and see how faith does not ignore the darkness, but learns to trust God faithfully within it.

We are continuously in prayer for the city of Tumbler Ridge, and all who have been affected by the tragedy last week. We are especially praying for our sister church, Tumbler Ridge Baptist Church. Our week-long Island Adventure Camp is back this summer!  Although it may feel like summer is a long way away, we want to ensure you save the dates on your calendar.  

Island Adventure Camp is an evening summer camp. The program will include songs, skits, games, crafts, and Bible stories. IAC is an excellent opportunity for us all to grow in our knowledge and love of Jesus and make lasting memories and friendships. 

When: July 13-17

Ages: There will be programs for children Age 4 (born in 2021) to Grade 5

Registration hasn't opened yet. For now, just make sure to mark your calendars!

We would like to invite anyone interested in volunteering to a pizza lunch this Sunday, February 22nd, following the service. It will be a chance to get to know other like-minded people, enjoy a meal together, and learn about some of the opportunities we have available at CRBC. We hope you can make it!

On Sunday, March 1st at 6:30 PM, we are gathering to celebrate God's provision and look ahead to 2026! Everyone is welcome to attend, but it is especially important for members. A Zoom option will be available for those who are unable to attend in person.

We’re inviting you on March 8th for an encouraging and practical session on sharing your faith. Together, we’ll explore simple, real-life ways to speak about Jesus with courage, clarity, and joy - without feeling awkward or pushy.

This free session will give you practical tools, and help you see opportunities you may have overlooked. Come prepared to grow, be inspired, and connect with others who are also taking steps to live out their faith in meaningful ways.
