Wedding Shower tonight. Island Adventure Camp: starts Monday!

CRBC Newsletter (July 13th, 2025)
Faith that Pleases God

Faith that Pleases God

What does it really mean to live by faith—not just as an ideal or a theological concept, but in the real and often messy moments of everyday life? Faith isn’t just for the mountaintop experiences or the pages of Scripture; it’s meant to shape our choices, sustain us in uncertainty, and give us courage when the path ahead is unclear. This week, we’ll explore Hebrews 11:4–7 and look closely at the lives of three flawed individuals — Abel, Enoch, and Noah. Each faced unique circumstances, yet all responded to God with extraordinary trust. Their stories remind us that faith is not passive; it’s an active response to God’s voice. It’s saying yes to Him even when the world says no, even when we can’t see the full picture. Living by faith doesn’t mean having it all figured out. It means taking the next step, not based on what we see, but grounded in who God is and what He has promised. As a church, may we be encouraged to trust God not just with our words, but with our lives.

Please pray for Pastor Josh and the team as they prepare for the service. We are looking forward to what God is going to do this Sunday!

Island Adventure Camp

Island Adventure Camp

Is HERE!

We are so excited! The church has been busy with youth and volunteers, making sets, costumes, and lots of surprises. There will be an amazing watery world for the kids to explore.

Island Adventure Camp begins on Monday, July 14th at 5-8 pm, and runs each evening until Friday.

Families are welcome to join their kids for dinner each evening, which starts at 5:00 pm, and the drop-off program will begin at 5:45.

Sunday Potluck

Sunday Potluck

The Teufels have started a trend! After the Sunday service, feel free to join an informal potluck lunch out in the field. A potluck is where each group brings enough food to feed their family (plus some extra!), and then we all share. We recommend you also bring a chair or a blanket. Stay for as long, or as little as you like.

We always need a helping hand with the dishes afterwards, so please consider staying if you have time.

Shawn and Jesse's Wedding Shower

Shawn and Jesse's Wedding Shower

Tonight! Ladies only!

You are invited to celebrate the wedding shower of Shawn Beselt!

It will be held tonight in the Fellowship Hall, July 11th at 7 pm.

Please invite a friend, and bring a sweet or savoury to share. This is such a great ministry to meet other women and bless the next generation with wisdom and hope.
