What is the Meaning of Life? - Fighting Fear and Anxiety

What is the Meaning of Life? - Fighting Fear and Anxiety

What if the anxiety you feel isn’t just about the headlines, but about control?

In Ecclesiastes 9, we’re confronted with a sobering truth, life is unpredictable, and we are not in charge. So why do we keep spinning on the wheel of “Am I getting it right?” or “When is it going to happen?” The Preacher shows us a surprising way forward, not through denial, but through surrender and enjoyment. What if fighting fear begins with trusting God’s sovereignty and rediscovering joy in His ordinary gifts? Join us this Sunday as we learn how to stop the anxiety wheel and rest in the hands that hold our days.

Please pray for Pastor Steve and the team as they prepare for Sunday's service.

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 9:1-12 ESV

Staff Update - Josh Kazakoff

Staff Update - Josh Kazakoff

We’re excited to share a leadership update at CRBC!

After prayerful discernment, we’re transitioning Joshua Kazakoff from Associate Pastor to Executive Pastor over the next year as he gradually steps into the expanded responsibilities of this role.

Josh completed his MDiv in 2017 and brings four years of experience as a Director, and seven years as a Pastor in a large church setting. We’ve seen God grow his leadership and pastoral heart in meaningful ways.

In this transition, he will:
• Provide full oversight of Immerse Students, helping reduce the Lead Pastor’s load
• Gradually assume Executive Pastor responsibilities, including staff oversight, HR functions, and helping implement the vision plan

This intentional transition period will allow Josh to grow into the strategic and organizational aspects of the position while continuing to shepherd and serve well.

We’re grateful for his faithful leadership and ask you to join us in praying for him as he steps into this expanded role!

Membership Class

Membership Class

Join us Sunday, March 15th following the service for a Membership Class.

Church membership is not about adding some requirement to the call of Jesus. It’s about a local church taking specific responsibility for a Christian, and a Christian taking responsibility for a local church. It’s about “embodying,” and “living out,” our membership in Christ’s universal body.
