Encounters With Jesus

We are starting a new Sermons Series Called Encounters With Jesus!

The big questions for each of us throughout this series are going to be, 1. are we allowing Jesus to change us through our encounters with him? And 2. are we allowing him to use us to introduce others to Jesus? We are not playing church. We don’t go to church. We are the church, the body of Christ on earth.

God is up to something. That is what the Bible says. He is at work all around us. He is drawing people to himself through the work of the Holy Spirit. His desire is that all would come to repentance. So, our job, while we are waiting for Jesus, is to spend time with him, allowing him to so change us that our lives take on new meaning, thereby busying ourselves being concerned about things that concern him.
